PURPOSE:

  1. Undertake Applied Research in the field of Operations and Project Management

OBJECTIVES:

  1. Provide a platform to explore project management issues in local environment.
  2. To critically analyze the use and implementation of project management techniques or lack thereof.
  3. To develop and provide learning material/opportunities that can be used by professionals to enhance  their managerial skills in Project Management
  4. Improve collaboration between academia and industry to promote value-addition by implementing modern project management practices.

KEY FOCUS AREAS:

  •  Review public projects for critical analysis.
  • Develop partnerships with key organizations such as PMI, P&D Department, etc.
  • Publish articles and case studies in operations and project management through student semester projects, thesis, and research unit’s own initiated projects.
